Ingredients:

  • 250 grams watermelon skin
  • 100 grams rice
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 liters water

Method:

  1. Cut the watermelon rind in strips before peeling. Remove the green rind and pink flesh.
  2. Wash and dice the rind, season with salt.
  3. Wash and drain rice.
  4. Place water, diced watermelon rinds, and rice in a pot.
  5. Bring to boil, then simmer over medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Add salt and then serve.
