Ingredients: (1-person portion)

  • 30 grams sweet potatoes
  • 100 grams rice
  • 1 gram cooked white sesame seeds
  • 2 grams Chinese rice wine (cooking wine)
  • 2 grams salt

Method:

  1. Wash and drain rice 30 minutes prior to cooking.
  2. Peel and dice sweet potatoes into 1 cm cubes. Then raise them under running water.
  3. Place rice and diced potatoes in a rice cooker. Add proper amount of water (Not so sure? Put your index finger into the water where the tip of your finger just touches the rice. The water level should be at the first joint line on your finger.)
  4. Add rice wine, salt, and stir well. Then start to cook.
  5. When the rice is cooked, stir immediately. Then spoon the rice into serving bowl and sprinkle over the sesame seeds, and serve.
