Ingredients:

  • 19 grams (0.7 ounce) dried black fungus
  • 15 red dates
  •  some rock sugar

Method:

  • Soak dried black fungus in warm water for 1 hour.
  • Place all ingredients in a double boiling jar (can seal the nutrients and flavor of the ingredients in the soup) with 4 cups of water.
  • Place the jar inside a big pot with half-full water.
  • Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil.  Then stew over medium heat (so as not to boil over the water inside the jar) for 1 hour.
  • Serve the soup in the jar directly.

Efficacy:

  • Enrich blood and replenish “Qi” (essential energy)
