Ingredients:

  • 15 - 20 clumps green onions
  • 30 - 50 grams rice
  • 5 - 10 milliliters rice vinegar
  • 2 liters water

Method:

  1. Wash and drain green onions, and cut into short sections.
  2. Wash and drain rice, and place in a large pot with 2 liters water.
  3. Bring to a boil, then add green onions to the pot.
  4. Bring to a simmer and continue simmering at low heat until porridge is ready.
  5. Add rice vinegar, stir well and serve hot.

Tips:
Green onions are also great raw. However, if you worry about the strong smell leave in your mouth, use these tips: Chew a few pieces of tea leaves or mouth-rinse with strong tea. Either one will keep green onion odor away from your mouth immediately.
