Ingredients:
- 1 black-bone chicken (around 1 kilogram)
- 10 grams ginseng
- 5 grams green onion (cut into one-inch strips)
- 5 grams ginger (sliced)
- 5 grams salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoon cooking wine
Method:
- Wash and paunch black-bone chicken.
- Cut ginseng into thin slices.
- Put chicken (breast side up) in a stew pot. Place sliced ginseng on top of chicken.
- Add boiling water (with enough to cover the chicken), then simmer over low heat for 2 hours.
- Add green onion strips, sliced gingers, salt, and cooking wine and cook for a brief moment. Then serve hot.
