Ingredients:

  • 4 slices (1-inch) fresh ginger
  • 2 cups water
  • 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar (to taste)

Method:

  1. Whack ginger slices with the back of a knife.
  2. Bring water to a boil.
  3. Add ginger slices, simmer over medium heat until liquid turns into light yellow color.
  4. Add brown sugar and stir.
  5. Pour into cup and serve hot.
