Ingredients:

  • 150 grams ground beef
  • 250 grams celery
  • 12 pieces wonton wrappers (round)

Seasonings:

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine
  • 1.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Method:

  1. Wash, drain, and finely chop celery.
  2. Add soy sauce, cooking wine, salt, sesame oil, and chopped celery in ground beef, then mix them well.
  3. Place wonton wrappers on work surface. Place 1 tablespoon of filling in center of each wonton wrapper. Moisturize wrapper’s edge with water. Lift sides of wrapper and pinch together above filling. Gather up edges and pleat wrapper, then seal edges tightly. Continue until all the filling is used.
  4. Bring 3 cups of water to a boil, then reduce heat to medium. Add dumplings one by one (not to let dumplings touch).
  5. Cook on medium heat with the lid 90% covered allowing steam to escape. Cook until dumplings are firm and wrappers are soft (around 15 minutes).
