Ingredients:
- 1 fresh carp (about 500 grams)
- 200 grams azuki beans
- 1 clump green onion (chop into 2-inch pieces)
- 5 grams ginger (sliced)
- 2 liters water
- Some salt to taste
Method:
- Wash azuki beans and let them steep in cool water for 2 hours.
- Wash carp, then paunch and scale it.
- Put drained azuki beans, carp, chopped green onions, and sliced gingers in a pot with 2 liters water.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat until azuki beans are soft (add more water if necessary).
- Add salt to taste, then serve hot.
